Scope Australia presents Speak Up and Be Safe From Abuse Promoting Rights and Safety for Adults with Complex Communication Needs

Scope’s Communication and Inclusion Resource Centre (CIRC) has recently completed a 3 year project, aiming to strengthen the safeguards for people with communication disability from abuse and neglect.

Together with AGOSCI, they will be presenting workshops nationally throughout October and November, promoting Rights and Safety for Adults with Complex Communication Needs.

The workshops are tailored to people with complex communication needs and the therapists who support them, teachers and leadership teams, but would be beneficial to any individuals eager to learn more about people’s rights and safety.

Part of the workshop will include two streams, one aimed at adults with complex communication needs and one aimed at professionals working in the area.

An outline of the tour is available via the AGOSCI website.

We wish the CIRC team all the best at their upcoming events.
