Novita Children's Services (established as The Crippled Children's Association of SA Inc) in 1939, providing care to children affected by the polio epidemic through the support of the State Government of South Australia.
Today, as a community-based, not-for-profit organisation, Novita provides services to over 1,300 South Australian children and young people aged from birth to 18 years with physical and / or severe multiple disabilities and their families.
